The Pitch & Mentor Program, part of PBA5 in Singapore, offers developers interested in blockchain entrepreneurship a chance to refine their startup pitches, receive personalized feedback, and present their projects to peers, ecosystem members, and investors. Led by PolkaBiz - an initiave created by PBA Founders Track Alumni - the program aims to nurture entrepreneurial spirit among students and foster innovative projects for Polkadot's ecosystem growth.

Upon completion, participants will gain skills in crafting concise pitches, structuring pitch decks, delivering effective presentations, and attracting funding from both Polkadot and private investors.

This accelerator program comprises 2 parts and serves as a condensed version of the Founders Lab. Tailored specifically for the PBA, our focus is on pitch delivery skills, preparing you to present to potential investors.

Two phased approach

Phase 1:

Open to 28 students/startups
Participants undergo pitching training and present their
projects
Up to 10 best pitches advance to Phase 2

Phase 2:

Closed mentorship program for selected startups
Mentor sessions and final pitch preparation
Final pitch day for selected startups to present to investors

Deliverables/Assignments

Throughout the program, students complete assignments to refine their project ideas and receive feedback. These include:

Value proposition and project abstract
One-pager profile
Draft pitch deck
Pitch presentations in both phases

Mentorship and Judges

Experienced mentors, including entrepreneurs and blockchain experts, provide guidance and feedback to participants. Judges evaluate pitches based on criteria such as clarity of idea, use of Polkadot technology, business viability, and presentation skills.
